The 2009 summer schedule is now in effect at Adagio Dance Studio.  The 'class schedule' page provides details on days and times, as well as class descriptions.  Please check in with the website for updates or changes to the schedule.

There will be no class on Thursday, July 2nd.  Enjoy the long holiday weekend!

Yoga is an ancient discipline intended to bring about physical well-being and peace of mind.  The word "yoga" comes from the Sanskrit root "yuj," which means  "yoke" or "union."  At inspire yoga+health, we are proud to practice yoga in the YogaFit® style.  YogaFit® is a part of the hatha yoga tradition.  Hatha yoga, also known as "the yoga of physical postures,"  is designed to tone, strengthen and align the body.    YogaFit® classes link several poses together with a deep connection to the breath, using a flowing vinyasa format as we move towards increased strength, flexibility, and balance. 
 
We welcome practitioners of all levels and abilities at inspire yoga+health.  You are encouraged to go at your own pace - whether you are new to yoga, or a seasoned practitioner.  We place strong emphasis on breath awareness and "tuning in" to our bodies.   Benefits of a regular YogaFit® practice include  a stronger, leaner body, reduced stress and tension, improved concentration and a higher level of energy.

Inspire yoga+health also offers mat Pilates classes in the traditional style of Joseph Pilates.  Pilates is designed to condition the body by strengthening and toning the muscles of the "powerhouse" -  abdominals, lower back, glutes and hips.  By making Pilates a part of your life, you will enjoy a safe and effective way to increase core strength, flexibility and balance, as well as improve posture, creating a more streamlined body.
